Hi there darlings!
Well, it’s beginning to feel a lot like Fall! Now I know some of you are a little sad that summer is coming to a close, but I must say I’m beyond excited for the season ahead! I’ve always been a lover of Fall, from boots and sweaters, to warm apple cider, and Halloween, I love all aspects of the Autumn Season!
There’s something about the first inkling of crisp air that brings me back to my first love… Hocus Pocus! I bet you thought I was going to say something else, didn’t you Anyway dears the moment the leaves start to turn on the trees, or the pumpkin spice lattes start flowing at Starbucks I start feeling the urge to watch my favorite piece of American cinema. From a very young age I loved things with a spooky bent like my other favorite The Nightmare Before Christmas, or the classic Nickelodeon show “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” But Hocus Pocus still tops the list as my favorite Fall film.
Now I’ve been known to take some fashion inspiration from the film. Long skirts, granny boots, green velvet? Yes please! So as the temperatures begin to slowly drop let’s take a look at how to add a little magic to your look whether you want just a spell or the full blown witch look!
Free People’s bohemian aesthetic takes the cake on witchy looks and it doesn’t get better than this lacy number…
The intricate lace on this dress is just stunning and perfect for a full witch look. But what’s so great about Free People dresses is their versatility. Throw on a jeans jacket and this look becomes casual and the perfect look for a sunny Sunday brunch.
This Winter Kate jacket adds a perfect pinch of magic to your look, but with a tee and leather pants like the model wears, you’ll still be completely modern. But it would look great flapping in the wind as you ride your broom across the sky!
Looking for an even smaller bit of witchery?
These Tatty Devine earrings are wonderfully witchy in a very subtle way!
And you can’t be a proper witch without the right footwear, now can you?
You’ll be breaking hearts and casting spells all over town in these lace up booties!
Have a witchy day darlings!
