Hi there darlings!
Last week Screenie happened upon the most lovely shop: Malena’s vintage boutique in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Malena has the most amazing vintage duds and it’s like walking through a wonderland to be in her store! Screenie found two perfect dresses and couldn’t wait to put them on! Actually I found quite a few, but I had to stop myself from buying up her whole store!
As Screenie’s dear friend Katie pointed out, this dress was very Sound of Music, and when it fit like a glove I knew it was meant to be! I imagined myself running through Austria singing in unison with my siblings in their matching outfits! And I wouldn’t even have to take down the curtains! Or, well at the very least it is the perfect lovely Sunday brunch look. Though when I do make it to Austria, it’s the first thing in my suitcase! The singing siblings part may be a bit harder to procure…
This dress is Miss Trudie Jr. of California. I just love the gingham pattern and embroidered orange flowers, but my favorite part is the ric rac bustline. I added my grandmother’s orange beaded necklace as a bracelet and swiped on Tarte’s Glamazon 12 hour lipstick in Timeless Bright Coral.
And of course my darling Tinsel had to get in on the action! Poor gal was still half asleep but looking lovely nonetheless! (She had just gotten her hair done and wanted to show it off!)
Make sure to stop by Malena’s shop at 101 West Gay Street in West Chester or check her out online here!
Have a lovely day darlings!
